Next, you will rush to the fragrant plant known as balsam, which has a lovely aroma. All fragrances that include swab or MYRON oil—which is used in church rituals—also contain this plant. Despite being erected in the fourth century AD, the two monasteries are strikingly situated against the cliffs, front the eastern desert. The largest monastery in Egypt is thought to be St. Anthony Monastery. Over the tomb of the saint stands the church dedicated to St. Anthony. Even though St. Paul is a more recent monastery, it is just as beautifully decorated with exquisite treasures. One could argue that Saint Paul was the first monk ever. The holy family's journey will thereafter take us to Upper Egypt to spend the night and visit El Minya .After checking in, eat dinner at your hotel, and stay the night in El Minya.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

It is currently located inside that ancient church. Next, take a vehicle to the Beni Hasan Rock Tombs on the Nile's eastern bank. There are prominent rock-cut tombs that display scenes from the local and regional lives of the Middle Kingdom around 4,000 years ago. A lot of these represent events of military training and wrestling.

Day 8: Tuna El-Gabal - Al Ashmunien (Hermopolis) - Assuit
After breakfast in the morning, you will check out of the El Minya Hotel and be driven to Tuna El Gabal's necropolis with your personal guide. This location has multiple important features, such as the Thoth-representing crypts of baboons and Ibis, Isadora's tomb, the priest Pet-Osiers' tomb, the ancient water wheel, and the city of Aton's boundary stele. Moving on to Al-Ashmunien, you'll enjoy seeing the open museum with its two enormous baboon statues and the basilica church ruins with its Rose granite columns. Drive to Assuit after that. You're going to a delicious local restaurant for lunch. Check in your Assuit hotel and have your dinner served, and spend the night in Assuit.
