After you have breakfast at your Cairo hotel and check out, your private guide will take you to the Giza Plateau, where you can see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus—one of the seven ancient wonders of the ancient world—as well as the world-famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. After that, head to the Egyptian Museum. After you have had time to see the beautiful ancient Egyptian artefacts and treasures, we will drive you to Khan El Khalili, Cairo's oldest bazaar, if there is time. We will then transport you to the Giza train station, where you can board the sleeper train that travels from Cairo to Luxor. You will have dinner on board.

Day 3: Touring Luxor

Our representative will greet and assist you upon your arrival at the Luxor train station. Prepare to explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who altered the course of Egyptian history, and visit the impressive Colossi of Memnon. The West Bank of the Nile River is home to some of the most fascinating tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Next, you will tour the magnificent Luxor Temple, the second most visited historical monument in Egypt and regarded as one of the most outstanding outdoor museums in the world. Continue to the beautiful Karnak Temple Complex. Return to your place of residence.

Our representative will greet you when you arrive and accompany you to your hotel so you can check-in. On Isis Island, see the incomplete Obelisk at the granite quarries before seeing the exquisitely preserved Temple of Philae, which honors the goddesses Isis and Hathor. You'll return to the hotel later.

When you get there, you'll see the amazing structures constructed for Ramses II and his queen, Nefertari. Not only are these temples near the Sudanese border renowned for their beauty, but they also boast an intriguing modern history: in 1968, they underwent a complete relocation to avoid submersion by the vast Lake Nasser. You will explore the temples for a while before travelling back to Aswan to catch a sleeper train for an overnight journey back to Cairo.
