Day 1: Welcome to the land of the pharaohs! Arriving in Cairo
Recieve greetings from the spiritual realm of Egypt, the ancient Pharaohs' capital for countless years. Your tour manager will meet you at Cairo International Airport, help you through the process, and give you an entry visa if needed. Following this, a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle will chauffeur you through Cairo's bustling streets. Once you arrive at the opulent boutique hotel, Le Riad Hotel de Charme Cairo, one of Cairo's hidden gems tucked in the heart of Old Islamic Cairo, your tour manager will assist you with checking in, go over your itinerary with you, and confirm the pick-up times for all of your tours and activities during your trip.

Day 2: Exploring Sakkara and the Pyramids
On the rooftop of the boutique Hotel Le Riad de Charme, you'll find Zeeyara, one of Cairo's most charming restaurants, serving native Egyptian cuisine at a fine dining standard. After a hearty breakfast, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau, where you can marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. On foot, explore the Plateau or ride a camel to the Valley Temple and the famous Sphinx. After your tour of the pyramids is over, you'll eat lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before continuing to the Sakkara area to see the Sakkara Complex, which houses the Djoser Pyramid, the first pyramid ever constructed.

Day 3: Touring Cairo
At your hotel's rooftop Zeeyara restaurant, savour another delectable Egyptian breakfast. The first destination in Cairo will be the Egyptian Museum, located in the centre of the city's historic downtown and has a view of the notorious Tahrir Square. Following your enjoyment of the spectacular ancient Egyptian antiquities and artefacts, you'll go to a nearby restaurant that the locals visit for lunch. If you have time after lunch, we will transport you to Khan El Khalili, the oldest bazaar in Cairo.

Day 4: Departure for Luxor
You will leave Cairo today and travel to the beautiful city of Luxor. Your tour manager will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning and drive you to Cairo International Airport so you can fly to Luxor. After arriving in Luxor, you will get assistance and be driven in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle to your first destination in Upper Egypt, where you will see the renowned Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings, which is home to the most well-known collection of tombs belonging to Pharaonic monarchy.
Following your tour, you will proceed to the West Bank to check into your Nuun and Nuut Dahabiyas before noon. These are two of Ashranda's most opulent and exclusive dahabiyas. You start sailing down the Nile. Sail quietly towards Esna while savouring a delectable lunch that is freshly made aboard. As you have your dinner on board, take in the breathtaking scenery of the Nile River in all its tranquillity.

Day 5: Esna, El Kab, and Edfu
While crossing the Esna Lock, take in the stunning scenery as you enjoy your first breakfast on board your Dahabiya. You'll visit El Kab Temple in El Kab Village, your first stop today. Explore the undiscovered splendour of the historic rock-cut tombs, fortifications, and temples from the New Kingdom era. After touring the temple, stroll around and enjoy the lovely village with its mud-brick homes.
Set sail again, but this time in Edfu's direction. Sail away with a delicious lunch on board. When you arrive, visit the Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman temples, to see the two exquisite granite statues of the falcon god Horus that loom over the entryway as you enter.
Travel back and forth in a horse-drawn carriage to the temple, savouring a wonderful experience while admiring the native way of life in Upper Egypt. Explore the tranquil, rural lifestyle of the nearby farmers and fishermen. As soon as you get back to your dahabiya, you'll resume sailing. Go on an adventure through the verdant, rich landscapes filled with date palms and banana trees.
We will anchor close to Sheikh Rehan Island just before dusk, so you can have a delicious dinner in a beautiful setting.

Day 6: Gabal El Silsela Tour
On your opulent dahabiya, savour another delectable breakfast as you sail towards Gebel Silsela, our destination for the day. Once you reach the historic Silsela quarries, explore the mysterious Hormoheb Temple carved out of the rock. After that, ascend Silsela Mountain for a beautiful panorama. Return to your dahabiya and enjoy a leisurely lunchtime cruise to Fawaza Island. Before savouring a delicious dinner on board, sip tea on the sun deck and admire the breathtaking sunset scenery. At the end of the day, enjoy a fantastic BBQ meal on the outskirts of Al Bashir Island, which borders Kom Ombo.

Day 7: Kom Ombo
Sail to Kom Ombo and savour a delicious breakfast on board. Land on Kom Ombo's coastlines, then stroll through the town among the inhabitants until you reach the unique Kom Ombo temple, which features sanctuaries, hypostyle halls, and two identical entrances. Discover the breathtakingly gorgeous temples of Sobek, the Crocodile God, and Haroeris (Horus), the Elder. The temple stands out as the only twin temple in Egypt, featuring two symmetrical entrances, halls, and sanctuaries. After your visit, return to your dahabiya, where you will spend the remainder of the day travelling to the charming city of Aswan and enjoying a delectable lunch and dinner aboard.

Day 8: The Last Day of Travel
