Day 1: Welcome to the land of the pharaohs! Arriving in Cairo

Greetings from the ethereal realm of Egypt, the ancient capital of the Pharaohs for countless years. Your tour manager will meet you at Cairo International Airport, help you through the process, and give you an entry visa if needed. After that, you'll be driven around Cairo's busy streets in a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle. Your tour manager will help you check in and go over your itinerary with you to confirm the pick-up times for all of your tours and activities during your stay once you arrive at the luxurious hotel, Le Riad Hotel de Charme Cairo, one of Cairo's hidden treasures tucked in the heart of Old Islamic Cairo.

Day 2: Exploring Sakkara and the Pyramids

Your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to begin your journey by taking in views of the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, after you have enjoyed a delicious and filling Egyptian breakfast at Zeeyara, one of Cairo's most charming restaurants that serves traditional Egyptian cuisine. Zeeyara is on the rooftop of the boutique Hotel Le Riad de Charme. Explore the Plateau by foot or ride a camel to the Valley Temple and the famous Sphinx. After your tour of the pyramids, you'll eat lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before continuing to the Sakkara area to see the Sakkara Complex, which houses the Djoser Pyramid, the first pyramid ever constructed. 
 
Spending the night in Cairo.

Day 3: Touring Cairo and Taking a Flight to Luxor

At your hotel's rooftop Zeeyara restaurant, savor another delectable Egyptian breakfast. The first destination in Cairo will be the Egyptian Museum, located in the center of the city's historic Downtown and has a view of the notorious Tahrir Square. Following your delight in the spectacular ancient Egyptian antiquities and artifacts, you'll go to a neighborhood eatery that the locals visit for lunch. If there is time after lunch, you will go to the oldest bazaar in Cairo, Khan El Khalili. 
You will depart Cairo after your visits and travel to the dazzling city of Luxor. You will be assisted upon arrival in Luxor and driven to your accommodation in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle. 
 
Spending the night in Luxor. 
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch. 
Visits: the Egyptian Museum, the Khan El Khalili, the Islamic Cairo. 
 

Day 4: Luxor Sightseeing and Embarkation

Check out of your accommodation early to begin your day of visiting Luxor, an ancient city. You will first explore the spectacular Karnak Temple and the famous Valley of the Kings, home to the most famous collection of magnificent tombs belonging to Pharaonic royalty, before starting your trip to Dahabiya. 
At noon, you will travel to the West Bank to board your luxurious dahabiya, Nebyt Dahabiya, and begin your voyage down the Nile. Sail quietly toward Esna while savoring a delectable lunch that is freshly made aboard. Sail on and have dinner while taking in the lovely, tranquil waters of the Nile River.

Visits: Valley of the Kings; Karnak Temple. 

Day 5: Esna - El Kab Village – Edfu

Take in the stunning scenery as you enjoy your first breakfast on board your Dahabiya as you early in the morning cross the Esna Lock. You will visit El Kab Temple at El Kab Village, which is your first stop today. Explore the undiscovered splendor of the historic rock-cut tombs, fortifications, and temples from the New Kingdom era. After touring the temple, stroll about and enjoy the lovely village with its mud-brick homes. 
Set sail again, but this time in the direction of Edfu. Sail away with a delicious lunch on board. When you arrive, make your way to the Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman temples, to see the two exquisite granite statues of the falcon god Horus that loom over the entryway as you enter. 
Savor a wonderful experience while admiring the native way of life in Upper Egypt while traveling back and forth in a horse-drawn carriage to the temple. Explore the tranquil, rural lifestyle of the nearby farmers and fishermen. You'll resume sailing as soon as you get back to your dahabiya. Take in the magnificent, verdant, rich landscapes that are peppered with date and banana palm trees. 
We will drop anchor close to Sheikh Rehan Island just before sunset, where you may savor a filling dinner in a charming setting. 
 
Sleep close to Sheikh Rehan Island.

Visits: El Kab Village, El Kab Temple, Edfu, Edfu Temple.

Day 6: Gebel El-Silsila

On your magnificent dahabiya, savor another delectable breakfast as you sail toward Gebel Silsela, our destination for the day. Visit the mysterious Temple of Hormoheb carved into the rock when you arrive at the historic Silsela quarry. After that, hike to the top of Silsela Mountain to take in the incredibly beautiful sight. Return to your dahabiya and have a leisurely lunchtime cruise to Fawaza Island. Before savoring a delicious dinner on board, sip tea on the sun deck and watch the breathtaking sunset scenery. Enjoy a delectable BBQ meal at Kom Ombo's neighbor, Al Bashir Island, at the end of the day.

Day 7: Sailing to Kom Ombo

Sail to Kom Ombo and savor a delicious breakfast on board. Land on Kom Ombo's coastlines, then stroll through the town among the inhabitants until you reach the unique Kom Ombo temple, which features sanctuaries, hypostyle halls, and two identical entrances. Discover the breathtakingly gorgeous temples of Sobek, the Crocodile God, and Haroeris, the Elder. The temple is the unique twin temple in all of Egypt; it was constructed with two symmetrical entrances, halls, and sanctuaries. Return to your dahabiya after your visit, where you will spend the rest of the day traveling to the vibrant city of Aswan and enjoying in a delectable lunch and dinner aboard.

Day 8: Last Day of Travel

This will be the last day of your magnificent Nile voyage. Savor your final delicious breakfast aboard. After that, depart to be driven to Aswan Airport to return to Cairo and board your last flight out of Cairo International Airport.
